thank you for your interest in working at brewster day camp. established in 1981, BDC is accredited by the american camp association. we pride ourselves on high teaching standards and welcome back more than half of last summer's wonderful staff. at brewster day camp, we have fun while challenging and nurturing children and supporting their families. we look forward to adding to our cadre of talented and dedicated educators.
Brewster Day Camp hires counselors who:
- Possess a genuine love for camp and the outdoors;
- Understand and support our mission;
- Have experience working with young children as well as with teams of adults;
- Are eager to work hard and have fun while making magic happen for campers!
Application Process
After reviewing the website, please complete the online Staff Application and ask three non-family members to complete the online Reference Form. When a position matches your skills, you will be notified to schedule an in person interview. If offered a position a contract will be mailed to you. Contracts must be returned within one month of receipt, no later than June 1. All Certification cards must be sent prior to contracting. At that time you must have a physical exam and your doctor will supply BDC with an up to date Immunization Record. Please send/submit all applications to the Director's Office as soon as possible.
