Aubrey Wright

Camp Nurse

Aubrey is a seasoned nurse with over 21 years of acute care experience in hospital settings. Her career has allowed her to hone the skills required to deliver compassionate, precise care under pressure—qualities she now looks forward to bringing to a camp environment. Living in Charlestown, MA, this upcoming summer marks the first of many for Aubrey and her family on Cape Cod with the purchase of their home in Orleans. Her two children, ages 6 and 10, will also be attending camp at BDC, which she feels will enrich her understanding of the needs and energy of young campers. She truly believes she’s been gifted an opportunity to combine her love for children, nurturing, and the outdoors by serving as a nurse for the BDC community!

I love how much the kids PLAY at BDC!
BDC creates a space where campers can really thrive as individuals and feel good about who they are.
The way children are encouraged to have good spirit, kindness and hope is so important and you all do it so well!
Brewster Day Camp is an amazing place! Welcoming and belonging as core values were apparent from the first moments we stepped onto campus.
BDC is welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging! Everyone from the counselors to the parking lot staff are amazing. BDC is the best. Seriously, this is the best money I've spent on my child ever.
There is so much spirit and energy flowing through BDC! And best of all, BDC is inclusive of everyone…when you come to BDC, you are family.
BDC offers the flexibility of a day camp and the strong culture and tradition of an overnight camp community!
You create a warm, nurturing environment that is bursting with a feeling of community. Friday morning assemblies and Family Swim are a great example of that.
We love so much about BDC: the wonderful staff, the variety and quality of activities, and the overall atmosphere! BDC is one of the most genuine, warm-hearted places and we feel lucky to have it.
Brewster Day Camp makes everyone feel welcome and a part of the community. I’ve never seen anything like it!
