ARCHERY
National Archery Association Standards
Campers learn safety, technique and concentration while enjoying the thrill of shooting arrows into targets with bows.
ART
2-D and 3-D Art
A strong focus on personal expression is encouraged by the art heads as campers explore the ideas of process and product in the art world.
BDOC
Brewster Day Camp Outdoor Challenge
BDC’s Low Ropes Challenge Course, comprising of a ten-element course, fosters team building through group and individual challenges.
COOP
Community Of Play
BDC’s COOP Lodge, covered GAGA Pit and Basketball Court are the perfect place for campers to explore the art of PLAY, learn to use cooperative language and build team work skills.
ECOD
Everything Cape Cod
BDC’s nature program that entices campers to become environmentalists and naturalists, and embrace ways to take care of our precious land.
LEAP
Learning Exploring Adventure Program
Campers practice teamwork and communication on and off campus, and embark on small explorations and adventures across the Lower and Outer Cape.
MUGS
Mixed Up Games and Sports
Our sports program teaches campers basic athletic skills and regulations. Campers play traditional games and have the opportunity to create their own rules for existing or new games.
STAR
Song Theater And Rhythm
Campers engage in a variety of musical and theatrical activities, games and challenge exercises. BDC’s costume and prop-filled yurt, and open-air stages provide campers with a whimsical environment for learning and preforming.
POOL
American Red Cross Swim Lessons
BDC’s pool is managed by a Red Cross certified director, and daily lessons and free swims are run by a staff of certified lifeguards and swim instructors.
BASE
Boating and Sailing Experience
BDC’s waterfront program at which campers explore canoes, kayaks, Day Sailors, Sunfish, and 420 sailboats in Little and Big Cliff Ponds in Nickerson State Park.
